With its 252,700 members and its 4,900 affiliated clubs throughout the territory, the French Karate Federation has been in charge of organizing and developing the practice of Karate and associated disciplines since 1975.
As a delegated federation of the Ministry in charge of sports, it alone is competent to issue national grades and diplomas, ensure all championships and competitions, open, cups, or others. It trains, prepares and selects future athletes
Specific training consists of optimizing techniques, working on speed, power, explosiveness… The competition is open to everyone after 1 year of practice (from the 2nd season). It can start at the age of 6 for boys and girls.
